Well priced and nice little place, I liked to be here.
There were pet-friendly & reasonably large rooms with microwave and a bath. Booked it for £ 97. The staff was superfriendly, pleasant. The location was absolutely perfect, close enough to doggie friendly restaurants, the waterfront and the center of Monterey and easily accessible. Terrific service offered in this hotel...

queen room with nice bathroom, had essentials required. the hotel was set in a central area adjacent to a restaurant across the parking lot and downtown monterey.
Didn't like the area, it was weird.

Nothing
The rate (more than 500$ for a small room for 4adults) in a very mediocre motel is a just a shame. The person at the "reception", unkind, unhelpful. The owners tried to be kind when I expressed my disgust particularly because the room assigned was in a 2 floor with no elevator and we were not asked for preference (my wife has a problem with her knee). In summary: very poor motel (not worth at 50$) at the rate of a lux 5* hotel.

We had a fairly nice time in this pet-friendly hotel in Monterey. We loved the location close to food store, laundry and eating, downtown monterey, resturants, grocery store and pharmacy, it was central.

The room was spacious and clean.
The shower didn't work, and had to have a bath. I find baths weird. The room next door was under construction and thus very noisey.

The hotel had been remodeled and it was so nice. Soft color on the wall and no carpet. There was a refrigerator, microwave and a coffee pot. It would be a nice place to stay awhile, unfortunately I wasn't able to do that.
Parking was a little tight. But there was plenty of it.

It was just a nice choice for a weekend in Monterey with value for money. The staff was accommodating in the morning, great to check out a bit later. If you're traveling with bags, try to get a room near the parking spots.
